Waves of Welcome: Greater DC Area 2026
Pepperdine University is making a splash in Arlington, VA! We invite you to join incoming students, their families, and alumni this summer at a Waves of Welcome celebration co-hosted by Aaron ('99) & Karrie Cohen, and Nathan ('99) & Daffnei Riedel. Connect with Senior Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs, Hung ('87, MA '03) & Corinne ('87, GSEP '88) Le, as we welcome the newest Waves into the Pepperdine family and engage with alumni!
New Students and Parents: Hear from Pepperdine leadership, enjoy meeting one another, be inspired by alumni, and ask all your questions before arriving on campus this August.
Alumni: Network with one another, mingle with Pepperdine leadership, and encourage the next generation of Pepperdine Waves as they begin their college journey.
Location: Venue address will be sent in a confirmation email prior to the event.
Food and Drink: Heavy appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
Cost: Admission is complimentary for all registrants, but pre-registration is requested.
Support the Alumni Endowed Scholarship Funds: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process that will go directly towards student scholarships at the school of your choosing. These scholarships will be awarded to students to assist them in funding their education at Pepperdine. The award is based on financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Assistance.
Accommodations: All registrants will be notified of any changes to this event. Please submit accommodation requests to alumni@pepperdine.edu or parentsprogram@pepperdine.edu at the time of registration. Advance notice is requested to secure accommodations.
