San Diego Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your San Diego Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve with Feeding San Diego, which exists to end hunger through food rescue. Waves will assist with several tasks, including gleaning fresh produce, packing boxes of food, or sorting through food that has been donated! Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service! *Please note that a separate registration must be completed with Feeding San Diego via the link below by Saturday, August 29 in order to confirm your spot.

Age Requirements: All volunteers must be 6 years old to enter the warehouse. All volunteers under the age of 16 must have an adult volunteer sign up and provide supervision during the volunteer shift.
Additional Registration Link: All volunteers must complete a separate registration with Feeding San Diego in order to confirm their attendance by Saturday, 8/29 via the link HERE.
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
