Sacramento Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your Sacramento Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve with Yolo Food Bank, which aims to end hunger and malnutrition in Yolo County. Waves will assist with several tasks, including packing groceries and distributing bags directly into the vehicles of families in need. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service! *Please note that a separate waiver and registration must be completed to confirm your attendance with the organization.
Location: Winters High School Gym • 708 Railroad Ave Winters, CA 95694
Age Requirements: This project is family friendly, but children must be supervised at all times.
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
