Orange County Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your Orange County Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve at Community Action Partnership, which exists to help people navigate out of poverty. Waves will be working on assembly lines to pack a variety of food items into boxes that will be serving approximately 25,500 low-income seniors. Food boxes will be distributed to over 70 sites all throughout Orange County and surrounding areas. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service!

Age Requirements: The warehouse utilizes forklifts and heavy moving equipment, if children are present they must be properly supervised.
Waiver of Liability: Please note that a liability waiver is required in order to serve. Please complete this waiver and bring with you on the day of service.
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
