Nashville Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your Nashville Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve with The Aloe Family, which exists to provide opportunities for empowerment, well-being, self-sufficiency and healing to resilient communities and individuals facing challenges of poverty or lack of family support. Waves will spend time with the families playing games, crafts, studying and more. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service! *Please note that a separate waiver and registration must be completed to confirm your attendance with The Aloe Family via the link below.
Location: The Aloe Family • 6535 Premier Dr, Nashville, TN 37209
(PLEASE NOTE: The address of the location is a residential building!)
Age Requirements: This project is family friendly, but children must be supervised at all times.
Liability Waiver & Additional Registration Link: All volunteers must complete a separate registration with The Aloe Family in order to confirm their attendance. Please use the link HERE and follow the instructions to finalize your registration and confirm your attendance (You will be asked to create an account in order to register).
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
