Los Angeles Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your Los Angeles Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve at the Ronald McDonald House which aims to be a "home-away-from-home" for families with critically ill children. Waves will assist with several tasks, including preparing a meal for families and writing letters of encouragement. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service! *Please note that a separate waiver and registration must be completed to confirm your attendance with the organization.

Age Requirements: Volunteers must be 12 years or older to participate.
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
Please submit accommodation requests to alumni@pepperdine.edu at the time of registration. Advance notice is requested to secure accommodations.
