Dallas-Fort Worth Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by your Dallas Waves Chapter Leaders, alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve at Christian Community Action, which exists to feed families and change lives across the greater DFW area. Waves will assist with several tasks, including unloading donation boxes from delivery trucks, inspecting and sorting food, and stocking shelves in the pantry warehouse. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service! *Please note that a separate waiver and registration must be completed to confirm your attendance with Christian Community Action via the link below.
Location: Christian Community Action • 200 S. Mill St., Lewisville, TX 75057
Age Requirements: Children must be 8 years old in order to volunteer. Children ages 8-13 must have a parent or guardian present with them.
Liability Waiver & Additional Registration Link: All volunteers must complete a separate registration with Christian Community Action in order to confirm their attendance. Please use the link HERE and follow the instructions to finalize your registration and confirm your attendance (please list "Pepperdine Alumni" as the group name).
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
