Chicago Waves: Step Forward Day 2026
For over 30 years, Step Forward Day has brought together community members from all six of Pepperdine's schools to embody Pepperdine's mission through community service projects across the country. We invite you to open your heart and roll up your sleeves for a day of community service with your regional network!
Led by alumnus Mark Villalovos (MBA '08), alumni, parents, and friends are invited to serve at L'Arche Chicago, which provides housing and support services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Waves will assist with several tasks, including meal preperation, organization of the home, and gardening around the property. Rep the Pepp in your blue and orange, and jump into service!

Age Requirements: This project is family friendly, but children must be supervised at all times.
Support the Waves of Service Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process which will go directly to the Pepperdine Waves of Service Fund and will equip our alumni and community members with the tools to be changemakers in their communities.
