About the Event
New Student Mugging Alumni Volunteers — It's the time of year when we need the enthusiasm and joy of our Seaver College alumni to welcome the incoming students for fall 2026! Bring your smile to greet the arriving Pepperdine students by serving root beer floats in a commemorative mug at New Student Orientation. The students will have had a busy week, and will have just said goodbye to their families. They’re now on their own for their first evening and are gathering at Alumni Park for a picnic, dessert, and music.
Please join us, as a valued volunteer, for a meal provided by Student Activities and to help scoop and serve the floats. Wear your orange and blue and bring your Waves spirit! GO Waves!
Please arrive at 5:45 PM to prepare for the event. Bring a jacket! (Parking is available along Banowsky Drive or Fieldhouse Parking Lot)

Support the Seaver College Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund: You are invited to give a gift during the registration process that will go directly towards Seaver College Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will be awarded to students to assist them in funding their education at Pepperdine. The award is based on financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Assistance.
